Before you can be hired as a SILS language partner, you will need to (i) provide documentation that you are eligible to receive wages in the United States; and (ii) sign a contract indicating that youare committed to fulfilling your responsibilities for the entire semester. If you are currently enrolled full-time as a graduate or professional school student, one of these references must be an academic advisor or other faculty member who can confirm that you are in good academic standing and are able to take on part-time work.
In order to offer instruction in your language through SILS, we also need to hire a language examiner - an experienced college-level instructor of your native language who would help us create a curriculum and administer a final exam.
