Bio: Fan Bu is a senior International student at Emory University, double-majoring Economics and Applied Mathematics. She comes from Beijing, loves cooking with friends and drawing. At the same time, she has developed a strong interest in Tibetan language and culture. This interest has driven her to perform outstandingly in Tibetan 101 and Tibetan 102 classes. Fan devoted herself to listening and speaking in Tibetan both in class and outside the classroom. She took every assignment and examination seriously. Outside the classroom, she also actively participated in various Tibetan culture-related activities. Fan has played the role of the main speaker in the Tibetan marriage presentation. Fan has had a positive impact on Tibetan language and culture's implementation on Emory campus. This award is an affirmation of her past efforts. She also hopes that she will continue her efforts in the future and continue to maintain her love of Tibetan culture.
