Student Name: Gaoke Chen

Major: Economics and Mathematics

Bio: Gaoke Chen is a senior at Emory University majoring in Economics and Mathematics. During his time at Emory, he has been actively involved in a fraternity, Rugby Club Sports and an honor society, Omicron Delta Epsilon. He also studied in Berlin and did an internship in Bad Homburg, Germany, and has traveled to many countries in Europe. Besides his experience in those countries, he has been a language learner at Emory, as he studied German for two years and Italian for one year. Gaoke is currently working on a research project in the Economics Department about the potential impact of economic overcapacity caused by government subsidies. This project has allowed him to identify his interests in data analytics and finance. After graduation from Emory, Gaoke will continue his graduate study in Finance.
